Joe Cross’s Juicing Story

Joe Cross was just an average man with a huge problem. He was obese. As the doctors could no longer help him and with an urge to be completely off of all his medicines, he decided to create his own diet plan – before losing his life.

Joe considered his options and he set off for a trek of 3,000 miles – carrying only a generator and a juicer. His goal was to be on the road for sixty days; through rain and sun; consuming nothing but juice. His triumph, in the end, was a massive loss – of weight, that is. His loss is our gain as he had the entire journey filmed for an audience to later partake of.

The movie that came out of this has inspired many people – not only to lose weight, but to be free from all that holds them back – Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead has been acclaimed with many awards. The video starts out with him at over 300 pounds – and ends with him a lot smaller.

During his expedition across the country, he met with over 500 people. He asked them questions about health, weight, and other issues so that they may become interested in following in his footsteps.

In Arizona, he met Phil. Phil was just like him – only heavier – he also had the same auto-immune disease as Joe did. This was a rare disease so it was peculiar that they both had it – it was attributed by their weight, however. He spent some time with Phil and he encouraged him to take a journey for himself. At that point, Phil made a pact within himself to begin his path to restoration of healthiness.

Having on been out for two years; it has already helped many people step outside of themselves and embrace a pathway to their own freedom – freedom for obesity; addictions; and strongholds. Joe is considered an inspiration and strength-giver by all whom struggle with their weight. His number one goal was that others would be encouraged to find their way to freedom.

He lost a total of one hundred pounds through the documentary and not only looks better – but feels better. His entire physical body changes by the end of the movie and the viewer can tell that he is a lot healthier. He wanted to be off of medicines completely and by the end, he was off of the ones he desired to be off of. His story should be considered exemplary and should be a push for all to find a way in which they can get restoration for themselves.

Two years later, Joe and Phil have kept the weight off and are a testimony of how the juicer diet truly can work. Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead is a true work of art that not only captures the audience but persuades them that they too can be better off. If you choose to watch this movie; you will notice a desire rise within yourself to understand your issues more and deal with them, just as Joe did.
